Experimental Dataset for the Valorization of Waste Polyethylene Terephthalate (WPET) as a Partial Fine Aggregate Replacement in Concrete
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains experimental results obtained from laboratory investigations on the use of Waste Polyethylene Terephthalate (WPET) as a partial replacement for fine aggregate in concrete. Concrete specimens were produced using a 1:2:4 mix ratio with WPET replacement levels of 0%, 1%, 2%, 4%, 6%, and 8%. Two coarse aggregate types (washed gravel and granite) were investigated. Fresh and hardened concrete properties were evaluated through slump tests, density measurements, and compressive strength tests at curing ages of 7, 14, 21, and 28 days. The dataset includes: • Concrete mix proportions • Particle size distribution of river sharp sand and WPET • Specific gravity results • Slump test results • Wet density measurements • Compressive strength results This dataset supports the manuscript: "Valorization of Waste Polyethylene Terephthalate as a Partial Fine Aggregate Replacement in Concrete: An Experimental Assessment of Fresh and Hardened Properties."
