Here, we employed PacBio, Illumina, and Hi-C sequencing techniques to assemble a 520 Mb chromosomal-level genome of H. ligniperda, characterized by a N50 of 39.97Mb across 138 scaffolds. We annotated 10765 protein-coding genes after masking repeats. We identified 14 chromosomes, among which Chr14 was determined to be the sex chromosome.
