Data for: Digital social currencies, institutional pressures and the social modeling of technology, published by RAC-Revista de Administração Contemporânea

The data correspond to interviews conducted with users of the digital social currency e-dinheiro and merchants who accepted this currency between the end of 2018 and the beginning of 2019. All interviews contained here were conducted in person in Maricá, a municipality in the State of Rio de Janeiro. The data were interpreted considering organizational strategies in response to institutional pressures, tactics and strategies used in inclusive markets and in social modeling of technology. In addition, it includes photos of the region where the research took place and news published on Maricá municipality internet portal.
