Processed Dataset for “Modeling and Optimization of a Mixed-Model Two-Sided Assembly Line Balancing Problem Considering a Workstation-Sharing Mechanism”

This dataset contains the anonymized and processed production data used in the study titled “Modeling and Optimization of a Mixed-Model Two-Sided Assembly Line Balancing Problem Considering a Workstation-Sharing Mechanism,” submitted to <i>Applied Sciences</i>.The dataset originates from the internal production records of a cooperating automobile manufacturer. All confidential and proprietary information, including company identifiers, workstation codes, and part numbers, has been removed or replaced with generic labels.The dataset includes task identifiers, processing times, precedence relationships, model type sets (EV-specific, FV-specific, and shared tasks), workstation side indicators (Left/Right), and synchronization pairs used for algorithmic optimization. It can be utilized to reproduce the case study and experiments in the paper or to benchmark future optimization algorithms addressing mixed-model two-sided line balancing problems.The data are provided in <code>.xlsx</code> format and may be freely accessed and reused for <b>academic and non-commercial purposes only</b>.
