The Nouvel Atlas Linguistique de la Basse-Bretagne (Le Nouvel Atlas Linguistique de la Basse-Bretagne) studies the geographical variability of the Breton language in the Basse-Bretagne region (including Finistère and the western part of Côtes-dArmor and Morbihan) in terms of phonetics, morphology, and lexis. The data are derived from informants provision of simple terms from everyday life, including nature, meteorology, animals, and daily life. The dataset was collected through two surveys, the first of which began in 1969, with the second aiming to fill in the gaps of the first and clarify certain concepts. All interviews were recorded on-site and transcribed personally by the author to ensure the consistency of phonetic notation. The dataset covers nearly one-third of the communities in the Basse-Bretagne region.
