资源简介:

The heavy rain hazard map is a water management planning aid. It is used to find areas in Hamburg that are particularly at risk from heavy rainfall. The map is based on the results of a model calculation including rain loads, the capacities of the sewer networks (columns) and the surface runoff. The maximum water levels and flow velocities are shown as a result of 3 different heavy rain scenarios (intensive heavy rain, extraordinary heavy rain and extreme heavy rain). Water depths below 5 cm are not shown on the map. Further information on the map is available at https://www.hamburg.de/starkregengefahrenkarte/. The focus of the heavy rain hazard map is on the analysis of the effects of heavy rainfall in settlement areas, which are flooded due to the interaction of the surface structures and the drainage system. Floods caused by sprawling waters are only approximated in the heavy rain hazard map. The impact of inland flooding on some Hamburg waters, on the other hand, is shown in detail in the flood hazard maps (https://www.hamburg.de/gefahren-risiko-karten/) and in the designated Hamburg floodplains: www.hamburg.de/flood areas.
