Geomorphometric variables derived from LiDAR DEM in Ineu locality (Romania)

This dataset supports the article investigating the contribution of novel predictors to digital soil mapping in Ineu locality (Romania). It includes new predictors (e.g., normal vector dispersion, anisotropy roughness, local point-based land surface parameters based on physical geomorphometry theory), alongside commonly used benchmark predictors, in our study area. The data were used to model twelve soil properties, including particle size fractions, A-horizon thickness, pH, humus content, and soil thickness. It also includes the Python code used to evaluate the soil model's performance.
