资源简介:
The NCBF-B-1 test specimen consisted of a one bay, two story chevron concentric braced frame designed and detailed in compliance with the 1982 Uniform Building Code. The frame was tested under quasistatic loading conditions with a triangular load distribution over the height of the frame. The frame consisted of irregular story heights of 10’-2” and 9’-2” (beam centerline to centerline) for the first and second floor respectively and a bay width of 20’-0” (column centerline to centerline). The east column was oriented along its weak axis and the west column was oriented along its strong axis. Width-to-thickness ratios of the HSS braces did not satisfy the highly ductile brace criterion of the AISC 341-10 Seismic Provisions (b/t limit of 0.55√(E/Fy) =13.8). The unbalance loads at the beams were not considered in the frame design. All welds were specified as notch tough.
