INSEE thus provides statistics on inhabitants and dwellings, their number and characteristics:breakdown by sex and age, occupations, housing conditions, modes of transport, commuting, etc. Staff above 500 can normally be used with confidence. Workforces below 200 should be handled with caution, as due to the inaccuracy of the survey, they may not be significant. Comparisons between small territories should not be allowed. For areas with less than 2 000 inhabitants, it is recommended not to use data from the additional holding.
