Number of earthquakes in Panama 2011-2021

In 2018, more than 2,500 earthquakes were registered in Panama, by far the largest figure recorded in the indicated period. Three years later, a total of 520 earthquakes were registered in the Central American country. The Panamanian province of Chiriquí, which borders Costa Rica and the Pacific Ocean, registered the highest number of occurrences.
