Dataset- Jordan Study EMPI

This dataset contains monthly macroeconomic data for Jordan covering the period 2009–2024, used to construct and analyze the Exchange Market Pressure Index (EMPI). The dataset includes both external and internal economic variables relevant to Jordan’s currency stability. It was used in the paper “The Paradox of Currency Resilience: External Debt as a Blessing and Geopolitical Risks as Unpowerful – The Case of Jordan.”
