资源简介:
A postcard titled, "'If He Comes In Ah'M Going Out': California Alligator Farm, Los Angeles, Cal.," published by Edward H. Mitchell, San Francisco, California, USA, circa 1900s. The image shows two black boys standing in a canoe in the midst of a pond with tall rushes at one side. Several alligators with open mouths appear to be in the water, but are evidently placed in to create the illusion of being present when the boys are in the craft. The caption and an ID number are at the bottom. The postally-unused card has space for a message, address and stamp with the publisher's name and city of business at the lower left. With edge rubbing and abrasions and some light soiling, the condition is good.
