资源简介:
Changes in soil properties had been extensively reported in Argentine Pampas, yet few studies have addressed changes in microbial communities related to land use. We use 16S amplicon pyrosequencing to examine the variability between bacterial communities of soils under different types of land use in two contrasting locations in Argentine Pampas. Our goal is to test how does the agriculture affect soil microbial communities and which species are better adapted to each type of soil management. Rolling Pampas Soils are classified as Typic Argiudolls (USDA 1975) and mean annual precipitation and temperature are 1002 mm and 16.8 ºC. Production soils were under agricultural management for at least one century, with a mixed rotation of pastures and annual grain crops during the first decades and only grain crops for the last 30 years. Soils in the region were managed under no-till for the last 10-15 years.
