Experiments compared uninfected ECV304 cells with ECV304 cells infected with HSV-2, and both were tested for differential genes by microarray with the goal of determining the effect of HSV-2 on gene expression in ECV304 cells. Overall design: Internal reference genes and positive and negative control genes are set on the chip.
