Seawater dissolved inorganic nutrients for Porcupine Abyssal Plain Sustained Observatory (PAP-SO) cruise JC165 in 2018.

This dataset contains dissolved inorganic nutrient data collected from CTD water bottle samples on the CLASS funded cruise JC165 in May and June 2018 around the PAP-SO site (49N 16.5W). The 115 water samples were frozen onboard and analysed using a SEAL Quattro at NOCS (Southampton) using standard autoanalyser methods for dissolved inorganic nutrients (nitrite, nitrate and nitrite, silicate, and phosphate). The initial analysis had to be re-done due to initial failure of the analyser. The samples were frozen again and kept in the dark then re-run, and final runs are in agreement with external certified reference materials (CRMs).
