Data from: Water, water everywhere: Defining and assessing data sharing in academia

This dataset supports a research project and paper where we define criteria for assessing the effectiveness of data sharing, under the assumption that the goal of data sharing is to make the data usable, with minimal effort, to the new user. We take the position that the bar should be set relatively low for the usability of data in order to facilitate the downstream goals of sharing such as validation of results, reproducibility of research, and use of data for novel science. The dataset is composed of a set of comma-delimited (csv) files and a text README file. Information about the dataset, include a file list, variables, headers, etc. can all be found in the README file.
