Political Culture of Democracy in Columbia, 2008

<p>This survey was conducted as part of the AmericasBarometers series sponsored by the Latin American Public Opinion Project (LAPOP) at Vanderbilt University. The sample represents the adult population from all geographic regions and both urban and rural areas. The survey measures the perception of political corruption, impact of crime and corruption on the political and social fabric of Columbia, victimization by crime, confidence in and satisfaction with national and local goverments, participation in institutions of local governance, perception of national and personal economic well being, trust in local government, the extent of involvement and personal social capital in public life, and other topics related to political and social values and behaviors.</p>
