microRNA expression analysis following 24h siRNA knockdown of transforming growth factor β receptor III (TGFBR3) in human pulmonary arterial smooth muscle cells.. Homo sapiens

We explored the impact of transforming growth factor β receptor III (TGFBR3) knockdown on the microRNA expression in the human pulmonary arterial smooth muscle cells (hPASMC), at 24h timepoint. Overall design: Human pulmonary arterial smooth muscle cells (hPASMC) in P2 were plated in 6-well plates and transfected with 200nM siRNA to transforming growth factor β receptor III (TGFBR3) (Santa Cruz Biotechnology) or Scrambled control (Ambion). Total RNA was extracted at 24h with miRNeasy Mini Kit (Qiagen) following the manufacturer’s instructions.
