State Election 2014: Southern Metropolitan Region results summary

A recheck is a normal procedure undertaken by an election manager. After the first count of preferences all ballot papers are re-examined and counted again. Scrutineers are entitled to be present and should be aware of any corrected figures. This term should not be confused with the term recount. For an Upper House Region rechecks are conducted on all first preferences cast for each group above the line and the total first preferences cast for candidates within the group below the line. The data is presented by District and further broken down by Voting Centre or vote type重查（recheck）是选举管理人员实施的常规工作流程。在首轮偏好票计数完成后，需对全部选票进行重新核验与二次计数。监票员（scrutineers）有权列席该流程，且应知悉所有经更正的计票数据。本术语不可与重新计票（recount）相混淆。针对上议院选区（Upper House Region），重查将涵盖每组线上投票的全部首轮偏好票，以及该组线下投票中各候选人所得首轮偏好票的总票数。数据将按选区（District）进行归类呈现，并进一步依据投票站（Voting Centre）或投票类型（vote type）做细分处理。
