"Fig. 7b" of "Search for massive, long-lived particles in events with displaced vertices and displaced muons in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13.6$ TeV with the ATLAS experiment"

Expected and observed exclusion contours at 95% confidence level in the plane of the long-lived particle's mass and proper lifetime, for the higgsino pair-production benchmark model with $B$-violating $\lambda''_{323}$ decays. A triangular interpolation scheme between simulated and lifetime-reweighted points is used to obtain a smooth contour. The triangulation is done linearly in mass, and logarithmically in lifetime and signal strength. Additional smoothing using a Gaussian kernel is applied to the observed limit contour to reduce artifacts from the interpolation.
