This study was descriptive, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional and prospective design.It was carried out with the aim of updating specific analytical tests for patients admitted to the periodontics, surgery and paediatric dentistry, surgery and paediatric dentistry departments of the Dr René Puig Bentz Clinic of the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University (UNHU). A population of 28 teachers was evaluated, of whom 23 responded to the questionnaire. As a result, it was observed that a high percentage of the respondents of the population surveyed agreed with the need to update the analytical tests for the School of Dentistry for a better School of Dentistry for a better management of systemically compromised patients.
