This is a globally spatio-temporally continuous monthly RGB composite true-color image dataset spanning 2000 to 2022. The dataset covers the entire globe, with a spatial resolution of 500 meters and a monthly temporal resolution. It is generated through precise cloud detection, time-series interpolation and image compositing. The dataset provides monthly cloud-free true-color surface images with reasonable spatial and seasonal variations, faithfully reproducing actual surface conditions and their seasonal changes.
