MACROFLORAL ANALYSIS OF ONE SAMPLE FROM THE BRICKEYES PRISON SITE 3LE249, ARKANSAS

One sample from a pit feature at the Brickeyes Prison Site, 3LE249, was sampled for macrofloral remains. Artifacts recovered from this site indicated Late Woodland and Mississippi Period occupations. Ihe historic canmunity of Reggio was later founded nearby inthe late 19th century but was abandoned inthe mid 20th century. Macrofloral analysis is used to address Pre-historic subsistence activities at this site.针对编号为3LE249的砖眼监狱遗址（Brickeyes Prison Site）内的一处坑遗迹，科研人员采集了一份样本以开展大植物遗存（macrofloral remains）相关研究。该遗址出土的人工遗物表明，此处曾存在晚期伍德兰期与密西西比时期的人类居住活动。其后，雷焦（Reggio）历史聚落于19世纪末期在该遗址附近建立，但该聚落在20世纪中期被废弃。本次大植物遗存分析旨在探究该遗址的史前生计活动。
