Spectral and Temporal Measurements of Male and Female Dark-eyed Junco Songs from San Diego, California

Measurements collected in Raven Pro 1.4 (Cornell Lab of Ornithology) from field recordings of 22 male and 3 female Dark-eyed Juncos. Some male subjects were recorded multiple times and sang different song types, which explains the repeated samples for certain individuals. Peak frequency was collected from spectrograms, and should be interpreted as the frequency with the highest amplitude in the song. Trill rate was calculated as the number of syllables (elements) divided by the song length.本数据集的测量参数由康奈尔鸟类学实验室（Cornell Lab of Ornithology）开发的Raven Pro 1.4软件，针对22只雄性与3只雌性暗眼灯草鹀（Dark-eyed Junco）的野外录音分析获取。部分雄性个体被多次录制，且鸣唱了不同的鸣唱类型，这导致部分个体存在重复采样样本。峰值频率（Peak frequency）从声谱图中提取，定义为鸣唱信号中振幅最高的频率。鸣啭速率（Trill rate）的计算方式为音节（元素）总数除以鸣唱时长。
