The Alan Rawle Coad Guide to Records documents and contextualises the records of Alan Rawle Coad, a chemical engineer and salinity expert. The collection contains papers relating to Alan Coad's work on salinity and land reclamation in the public and private sectors, including reports, maps and papers on this topic, either by Alan Coad or collected by him during his career. The collection documented by the Guide consists of 58 inventory items, mostly paper format files, grouped into four series. The total collection occupies 44 linear cm of shelf space (or its equivalent).
The Guide is the output of a research database. It was published online by the eScholarship Research Centre in September 2009. Work on the collection began in 2002 by the Australian Science and Technology Heritage Centre.
The records are held by the State Library of Victoria (MS 13682). The collection was listed by Ailie Smith, Bruce Smith, Gavan McCarthy and Michael Jones.
