Data for Main Study: An End-User Centered Framework for Data Access Management and Security in the Enterprise Public Cloud

The proposed User Authentication Control Model for Cloud-based ERP Systems aims to increase end-user participation in enterprise cloud data security by utilizing Enterprise Access Directory, Enterprise Data Fragmentation, and End-user Access Requirements. This model mitigates the impact of malicious infiltrators by ensuring no single user can access the entire enterprise database in the cloud. The model considers end-users' function and responsibility within the organization when determining access levels and data sets. A survey was conducted to gauge cloud computing practitioners' support or opposition to the model, with 43 responses from the research participant, the analysis result indicating that the proposed framework is moving in the right direction. However, the question remains whether end-users truly desire security responsibility. The data is a summary of each of the responses we got from each research participant to our main study survey. The data contains a read me file and is made open access.
