Agent Functional Type (land use) map of Europe

The map covers the European domain at 1 km spatial resolution and is constructed by integrating three primary data sources: the CORINE Land Cover dataset (CLC 2012, CLC 2018), which provides wall-to-wall land cover information across Europe; parcel-level agricultural declarations from the Integrated Administration and Control System (IACS) for year 2023; and a set of spatially explicit overlay layers encoding forest management regimes, Natura 2000 protected area boundaries, and organic farming certification status. Detailed description is provided in the "aft_map_generation" file. GeoTIFF files have an embedded raster attribute table with class names. The coordinate system is EPSG:3035 (LAEA Europe).
