Evidence for an Empirical Baryonic Surface-Density Scale in Disk Galaxies

This dataset accompanies the study “Evidence for an Empirical Baryonic Surface-Density Scale in Disk Galaxies”. It contains derived baryonic surface-density measurements for 171 disk galaxies from the SPARC rotation-curve database, together with reproducible Python analysis scripts used to identify an empirical surface-density scale Σψ ≃ 0.286 kg m⁻². The dataset enables independent verification of the reported surface-density segregation and provides a model-independent benchmark for testing galaxy-formation simulations and alternative gravity models. Source data originate from the SPARC database (Lelli, McGaugh & Schombert 2016, AJ, 152, 157). Redistribution complies with CC BY 4.0 licensing and original data attribution.
