Detection of Edible and Non-Edible Weeds for Humans in the Aegean Region by Deep Learning Methods

The dataset consists of 36 species, of which 21 are classified as edible weeds and 15 as non-edible weeds. Edible weed classes include: Fennel, White Deadnettle, Shepherd’s Purse, Common Mallow, Poppy, Mustard, Nettle, Dandelion, Gundelia, Common Vetch, Chickweed, Dock (Rumex), Stork’s-bill, Shiitake Mushroom, Chamomile, Purslane, Golden Thistle, Pigweed, Sweet Mustard, Rabbit's Ear, Apricot-colored Flower. Non-edible weed classes include: Common Wormwood, Ferula, Holly, Thistle, Henbit, Beakless Crane’s-bill, Hawthorn, Common Mullein, Cotton Flower, Yellow Star-thistle, Viper’s Bugloss, Wild Parsley, Wild Onion, Cleavers, Clover.
