Dataset of Wall torque controls propulsion of curved microstructures in bacterial baths

Dataset for ''Wall torque controls propulsion of curved micro-structures in bacterial baths''Published in Physical Review Letters: https://doi.org/10.1103/pnjv-6n5r This dataset contains the experimental and simulation data associated with the above publication. It can be explored using the three provided Jupyter notebooks: 1) FreeStructuresDisplacement – Summarizes results for freely moving curved microstructures. 2) SimulationCode – Contains the code to simulate the dynamics of a bacterium colliding with a curved, fixed microstructure. 3) FixedStructures_Impulse – Presents experimental results for bacteria colliding with fixed curved microstructures and compares these data to simulation outputs. The raw videos of the freely moving structures and of the fluorescent bacteria colliding with the fixed structures are not included due to their large size, but are available from the authors upon request.
