Honnhammer Rock Art Site II, VI, VIII and IX

In 2015, the NTNU University Museum conducted a digital survey of four painted rock art fields at the well-known rock-art site at Honnhammer in Tingvoll, Møre and Romsdal County. By using digital photogrammetry, it was possible to reconstruct detailed and accurate three-dimensional surface model of the area with the four panels. Methods for colour manipulation that can accentuate pigments and thus highlight weak / invisible parts of paintings were employed.
