Dataset for research paper entitled "Phase evolution and mechanical response of LENS®-fabricated 18Ni-300 maraging steel after solution treatment and aging"

The dataset contains the results of an experiment that shows the influence of solution treatment and aging time and temperature on the phase evolution, microstructure and mechanical properties of Laser Engineered Net Shaping (LENS®)-fabricated 18Ni-300 maraging steel. The entire experiment is described in the article being submitted (a reference will be provided upon acceptance). The dataset comprises raw and processed data used in this study, including: X-ray diffraction phase analysis - was performed using a Rigaku Ultima IV diffractometer equipped with a Co Kα X-ray source for all samples subjected to different heat treatment conditions. Vickers hardness measurements - performed with SINOWON SV-30 hardness tester under a 10 kG load for 10 s dwell time. Tensile test - performed on a Zwick Roell AllroundLine Z10 testing machine by using a laserXtens HP1 - 15 high-precision speckle-type laser extensometer.
