Natural gas consumption in Spain 2020-2023, by month

Spain's consumption of natural gas totaled 323.8 terawatt-hours in 2023. February was the month when consumption was the highest, at some 33.5 terawatt-hours. By contrast, Spain's natural gas consumption reached its lowest point that year in May, with a value of 24.5 terawatt-hours. In 2022, the overall consumption of natural gas was higher, peaking in January and reaching a record low also in May.
