This dataset is the 2010 spatial distribution data of land use types in Huidong County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, China. It is vector data with attribute fields including land code, land type and other related fields. The secondary land use types include paddy fields, dry lands, closed forest land, shrub land, sparse forest land, other forest land, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, permanent glaciers and snow-covered land, tidal flats, beach land, urban land, rural residential areas, other construction land, sand land, gobi, saline-alkali land, swamp land, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Specifically, cultivated land is classified based on landform into paddy fields and dry lands in mountainous, hilly and plain areas, as well as those on slopes with a gradient greater than 25 degrees. The data scale is 1:100,000.
