Financing the Litigation Arms Race, Replication Package

This is the replication package for "Financing the Litigation Arms Race" in the Journal of Financial Economics by Samuel Antill and Steven R. Grenadier. This is a theory paper, so there is no data. To produce the figures appearing the main article, simply run the file master.m, ensuring the other .m files are in the same folder. This will solve our model and plot equilibrium objects for various parameterizations to produce the figures. We ran master.m using Matlab2022b and it produced all figures in approximately 1.5 minutes. Note, we used the matlab2tikz program to turn matlab figures into .tex files. The files for the matlab2tikz program are included.本复现包对应Samuel Antill与Steven R. Grenadier发表于《金融经济学杂志（Journal of Financial Economics）》的论文《诉讼军备竞赛的融资（Financing the Litigation Arms Race）》。 本文为纯理论研究论文，未附带实证数据集。 若需复现正文中的所有图表，只需运行master.m文件，请确保其余.m格式文件与该文件处于同一文件夹中。运行后将求解本文的模型，并针对不同参数设定绘制均衡结果以生成所需图表。 本次测试使用Matlab2022b运行master.m文件，整套流程仅需约1.5分钟即可生成全部图表。 注：本复现包已集成matlab2tikz工具的相关文件，该工具可将Matlab生成的图表转换为.tex格式文件。
