Tregs dynamically respond to the inflammatory environment by acquiring features of the inflammatory cells they regulate. This is called Treg plasticity. We aimed to understand how Treg plasticity impacts the immune response to the protozoan parasite, T. gondii during the acute infection phase in the mouse model. Our study provides unique information of how plasticity of Tregs positivily impacts the overall fitness of the Treg during an infection. The goal of this study is to understand how the transcription factor Tbet orchastreates the Treg response to Th1 mediated inflammation and determine the gloabal gene expressions program in Tregs isolated from mice acutely infected with T. gondii.Total RNA was extracted from WT (Foxp3YFPCre+/+) and KO (Tbx21f/f-Foxp3YFPCre+/+) mice and submitted for RNA-seq.
