ORGANIZATION OF ACCURATE WATER BALANCE IN RESERVOIRS

This scientific article examines the theoretical and practical foundations for organizing accurate water balance accounting in reservoirs. Effective use, management, and distribution of water resources require precise calculation of the water balance. The study comprehensively analyzes the main components of the water balance, including inflow and outflow, evaporation, seepage, precipitation, and anthropogenic losses. Particular attention is given to the application of modern monitoring systems, remote sensing technologies, and digital modeling methods in determining the water balance. The research results demonstrate that accurate water balance management contributes to optimized water allocation, reduced losses, and improved sustainability of water management systems. Additionally, the article provides scientific and practical recommendations for improving water balance calculation algorithms and implementing real-time monitoring systems.
