SST gradient and reconstructed Antarctic Circumpolar Current latitude change in the Southern Indian Ocean over the last 150kyr

We reconstructed the SST gradient between MD11-3357 (44.68°S, 80.43°E, 3,349 m water depth) and MD11-3353 (50.57°S, 68.39°E, 1,568 m water depth) based on a revised TEXL86 calibration. The meridional SST gradient between the two sites was used to investigate the temporal evolution of Antarctic Circumpolar Current frontal displacements, based on a simple quantitative framework. There are 3 files in this date set. Two files for downcore GDGT fractions, GDGT indices, and revised SST for each site respectively, and one file for the SST gradient and reconstructed frontal latitude displacements.
