Nearshore water pressure and temperature measurements in Admiralty Inlet

This dataset contains nearshore water pressure and temperature time series data from the northeastern shore of Admiralty Inlet. This data was collected to validate modelled tidal data in Admiralty Inlet from Webtide and other modelled tidal products, and to measure changes in water temperature due to nearshore freshwater runoff. This dataset was developed as part of a larger project to establish observational systems for weather, current, and sinaa (lead) monitoring to complement Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit (IQ; Inuit knowledge and ways of knowing) and support real-time decision making for safe spring ice travel in the communities of Ikpiarjuk (Arctic Bay) and Mittimatalik (Pond Inlet), Nunavut.本数据集包含来自阿德默勒尔蒂湾（Admiralty Inlet）东北岸的近岸水压与温度时序数据。本次采集的数据旨在验证Webtide及其他潮汐模拟产品生成的阿德默勒尔蒂湾潮汐模拟结果，同时监测近岸淡水径流引发的海水温度变化。本数据集是一项大型项目的成果之一，该项目旨在搭建气象、海流与冰间水道（sinaa，lead）观测系统，以补充因纽特传统知识体系（Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit，简称IQ：因纽特知识与认知方式），并为加拿大努纳武特地区伊克皮亚朱克（Arctic Bay，北极湾）与米蒂马塔利克（Pond Inlet，庞德湾）的社区居民春季安全冰上出行提供实时决策支持。
