The Cyc8-Tup1 complex inhibits transcription primarily by masking the activation domain of the recruiting protein

Chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP-Seq) of Snf2 and Gal11 under conditions in which Tup1 was or was not depleted by anchor-away. The resulting co-activator recruitment sites were mapped with respect to the location of Tup1, as determined by parallel ChIP-Seq experiments.
