DDX24 and DDX49 are two putative novel pattern recognition receptors that recognize KSHV immediate early and early transcripts and thus have anti-viral activity. In order to study which KSHV transcripts do DDX24 and DDX49 interact with, RNA immunoprecipitation was conducted on TREx-BCBL1-Rta cells over-expressing maxGFP, DDX24, DDX49, or DDX58 induced or non-induced.
