Transcriptome analysis of Rice under silicon and Yellow Stem Borer (YSB) stress. The study was conducted to Decipher silicon mediated defense against yellow stem borer in rice. NGS based transcriptomics sequencing was conducted for swarna variety of rice with and without silicon application followed by infestation of YSB to identify the role of silicon in imparting the resistance to YSB in rice and identification of genes and pathways involved in imparting resistance to YSB in Rice
