Transcriptional profile of sugarcane cultivars sensitive and tolerant to water stress

Gene expression profiling of two sugarcane cultivars (sensitive and tolerant to water stress) was obtained using RNA-Seq, in order to verify the response of plants to prolonged water deficit. Both cultivars were subjected to three soil water potentials at 60 days after planting and gene expression was evaluated at three times: 30, 60, and 90 days after treatment application.
