The simulation was performed using EAGLE. We simulated with 2x150bp reads with paired-end distance of 500bp (with standard deviation of 50bp), at varying level of sequencing depth (5x, 20x and 80x). The reads were then mapped to hg38 using BWA. The STR locus of interest is Huntington's Disease (HD), at location chr4:3074877-3074933.<br>Also included is the benchmark results of TREDPARSE and lobSTR on simulated haploid and diploid with one single allele with <i>h</i> number of CAGs, where <i>h</i> varies between 1 to 300 CAGs.<br>
