资源简介:
This dataset integrates data used to evaluate crop responses to soil salinity in coastal agricultural systems on the Delmarva Peninsula. The dataset includes normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) derived from multispectral drone imagery during the summer growing season, natural log-transformed Mehlich-3 extractable sodium (lnNa) - derived from apparent electrical conductivity relationships, and digital elevation model (DEM) data.Data were collected across multiple field sites (S1 through S10) and used to quantify spatial relationships among elevation, soil sodium accumulation, and canopy-level crop response. Each point ID is a 5 by 5 m fishnet extracted grid from within each field, averaging NDVI, lnNa, or the elevation. Larger fields will have more total points to evaluate. This dataset supports analysis of threshold responses to salinity, including the identification of elevation-based transition zones and spatial lead-lag relationships between root-zone salinity and canopy stress. The data are intended to facilitate the delineation of site-specific management zones and improve understanding of salinity dynamics in humid coastal agricultural environments.
