The final water temperature of the hot water storage tank is one of the critical parameters for solar water heaters. An excessively low final water temperature in the storage tank will compromise consumers' actual usage experience and erode their trust in energy-saving products. This dataset enables the evaluation of the final water temperature of solar water heaters, providing reference and technical support for government regulatory work and consumers' purchasing decisions. 1. The final water temperature t17 in the hot water storage tank of a solar water heater is calculated using the following formula: t17 = 20 + 17*(te - tb)/H, where tb denotes the water temperature in the storage tank at the start of the heat collection test, in units of ℃; te denotes the water temperature in the storage tank at the end of the heat collection test, in units of ℃; H denotes the cumulative solar irradiance, in units of MJ/m²; 2. Data analysis: Per the requirements specified in GB/T 19141-2011 Technical Specifications for Domestic Solar Hot Water Systems, when the solar irradiance is 17 MJ/(m²·d), the final water temperature in the storage tank upon completion of heat collection shall be ≥45℃. A final water temperature of 45℃ or above is deemed compliant, while a temperature below 45℃ is deemed non-compliant.
