The study aims at elucidating the effects of the deubiquitinase USP12 on lung tumorigenesis and malignant progression. To obtain molecular details of how USP12 functions in lung tumor cells, we profiled the genes transcriptionally affected by USP12 knockdown. Overall design: The transcriptional profiles of the control and USP12-knockdown H1944 cells were measured by RNA-seq and compared with each other. The alterations of gene expression were then analyzed by pathway enrichment calculation.
