PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood connection structure which can strongly connect a pair of wood. SOLUTION: A reinforcement rod 2 for wood connection， which is buried in an adhesive 3 that is made to fill a pair of rod burying holes 12A and 12B that are bored in each of joint surfaces 10 of a pair of wood 1A and 1B， each have circular cross sections and are coaxially arranged and communicated with each other， and connects the pair of wood 1A and 1B includes: a rod shaft part 20 that has substantially a circular cross section and linearly extends in an axis direction; and a first balance material 21A which projects from the outer peripheral surface of the rod shaft part 20 on one end side with respect to the joint surfaces 10 and extends in a direction inclined to the axis direction on the outer peripheral surface.
