Project title: PMACS-87 Grant Information: AHA Grant 9TPA34910007, Regulatory role of pericardial macrophages in myocardial infarction Project Description: · Animal Model: Myocardial Infarction · Animal Age: 8-12 Weeks · Animal Sex: Male · Animal Strain: C57B6/J LysCreGATA6fl/fl or C57B6/J LysCre · Number: 10 Mice · Groups: 1 LysCre receiving infarction, 1 LysCre sham, 2 LysCreGATa6fl/fl receiving infarction, 1 LysCreGATA6fl/fl sham · Experimental Conditions: Mice were given MI via LAD ligation. Animals were sacrificed at 24 hours post-infarction. Hearts were collected and analyzed via Flow Cytometry.
