资源简介:

1. Overview This archive includes processed model outputs, derived diagnostic variables, and observational datasets used in the analysis of mineral-resolved dust shortwave radiative effects and associated uncertainties. These data support Figures 2-6 in the main text of Li et al. (2026, Nature Geoscience). Raw observational datasets (e.g., EMIT products) are publicly available from their respective mission and data distribution centers and are not redistributed here. 2. Contents 2.1 Processed model outputs Multi-model simulations (e.g., CESM2, ModelE, MONARCH, AM4) Variables include: Airborne iron oxide (irox) mass fractions Dust shortwave (SW) radiative effect (DRE) Dust SW DRE efficiency (DREE) Associated uncertainty estimates 2.2 Pre-EMIT soil iron oxide Surface mineralogical datasets derived from pre-EMIT observations Soil mineral atlases used for dust source characterization Associated uncertainty estimates 2.3 EMIT-derived constraints Surface mineralogical datasets derived from EMIT observations Soil mineral atlases used for dust source characterization Associated uncertainty estimates 2.4 Figure-ready datasets Data files organized by figure number: LLi_NatGeosci2026_Fig02* LLi_NatGeosci2026_Fig03* LLi_NatGeosci2026_Fig04* LLi_NatGeosci2026_Fig05* LLi_NatGeosci2026_Fig06* Files contain processed arrays required to reproduce the corresponding figure(s)/panel(s). 3. Reproducibility Figures 2-6 in the article (Li et al., 2026, Nature Geoscience) can be reproduced using the processed datasets provided here. Figure 1 was generated by the first author, Longlei Li, using Adobe Illustrator. The soil mineralogy map was provided by co-author Roger N. Clark. 4. Notes All data provided here are processed (analysis-ready) and intended for reproduction of figures and key results. Minor differences may arise if raw model outputs are reprocessed independently due to numerical precision or interpolation choices. The dust DREE archived here has not been converted to full-day averages; this step is required to reproduce the dust DREE figure shown in Li et al. (2026, Nature Geoscience). EMIT and observational datasets should be obtained directly from official repositories for full fidelity use. 5. Contact For questions regarding the dataset, please contact:Longlei Li (ll859@cornell.edu or l.longlei@gmail.com)
